Ban Gioc Waterfall, Vietnam is located in Dam Thuy, Cao Bang, Northeast Vietnam, about 335km from Hanoi, taking you 7 hours to travel by car.

2 - When is the best season to go to Ban Gioc waterfall, Vietnam?

Because it is located at the top of the country, with windy terrain, the climate at Ban Gioc waterfall is divided into two distinct seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. From June to September every year, this waterfall welcomes showers, making the water flow even more massively and violently, forming white foam. Many people think that this is the most ideal time to see the beauty and feel the majestic power of nature. However, for tourists to Ban Gioc waterfall who are not excited about the rains, from about September onwards is the time when Ban Gioc Waterfall, Vietnam enters autumn and is the driest.

Phat Tich Truc Lam Pagoda 

Only about 500m from Ban Gioc waterfall is Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc pagoda. This religious work is to worship the hero Nung Chi Cao - a historical figure, a cultural icon of the 11th century. In addition to praying for peace and enjoying the view of the pagoda, it is also the place to see the main waterfall of Ban Gioc waterfall. 

Thang Hen Lake    

Besides Ban Gioc Waterfall, when traveling to Cao Bang, you should arrange a time to visit Thang Hen Lake. This is a lake located on the mountain in Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province. The lake has a very unique diamond shape, is located in the heart of the Northeast mountains. Surrounding the lake is the forest growing rocky mountains, creating a majestic natural landscape.
